New Images, New Techniques Abstraction in British Screenprints circa 1970

Opening on the 17th June, the University of Virginia Art Museum’s exhibition New Images, New Techniques Abstraction in British Screenprints circa 1970 features prints by prominent British artists from the University’s extensive permanent collection. The exhibition displays various techniques of the British printmaking scene in the 70’s with William Scott as one of the artists representing the St. Ives School.
