2013 marks the centenary of the birth of key British artist William Scott, best known for his still life and abstract paintings. As part of these celebrations the BFI has screened the bio-pic Every Picture Tells a Story (1983) telling the story of Scott’s early life, directed by none other than his son and fellow artist, James Scott.
