About the Foundation

The William Scott Foundation was established by William’s two sons James and Robert Scott in 2007. Its office is based very close to the former Chelsea house and studio of the prolific painter, in south west London. The Foundation funds several long term projects, including the preservation and cataloguing of the William Scott Archive.  In 2013, after many years of research, it published the Catalogue Raisonné of Scott’s works in oil.

A key ongoing purpose of the Foundation is to raise awareness, support and money for the Alzheimer’s Society and its research into possible treatments for the disease from which Scott died.
