Robert Scott was interviewed on Sunday 18 December 2011 by Shaun Ley from the BBC on the subject of the implementation the Artists Resale Rights Regulations.
The broadcast discussion included the fears of the Galleries and Auction houses that the art market would leave Europe to go to America, Switzerland or China.
Robert pointed out that vendors decide which country their art works would achieve the best prices and that the significant cost of packing, shipping and insurance will far outweigh the small percentage based on a sliding scale due to ARRR and that in any event there is a cap of 12,500 Euro what ever the value of a work of Art. These rights will help towards us enabling the Foundation to continue its work.
