Take a tour of the Ulster Museum’s William Scott exhibition, with exhibition curator Anne Stewart. Developed in partnership with Tate St Ives and The Hepworth Wakefield, this major retrospective marks the centenary of the birth of William Scott (1913-1989). From his childhood in Enniskillen, to his training at the Royal Academy Schools, to his friendships with some of the ‘giants’ of 20th century art, such as Rothko, Anne explores Scott’s life, the developments in his painting and drawing styles and his reputation as one of the leading British painters of his generation.
